How quickly can you get to me in an emergency?
We aim to reach you within 2 hours anywhere in London or Essex. For extreme emergencies such as gas leaks, we prioritise immediately. Our engineers are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year — including Christmas and Bank Holidays.
What counts as a boiler emergency?
A boiler emergency includes: no heating or hot water in winter, suspected gas leaks (leave the property and call 0800 111 999 first), carbon monoxide alarm activation, visible water leaks from the boiler, or a complete boiler lockout with fault codes. If you're unsure, call us — we'll advise you for free.
Do you charge more for emergency call-outs?
Our emergency call-out fee starts from £85, which covers the diagnostic inspection and first hour of labour. We give you a fixed quote before any repair work begins — no surprise charges. Out-of-hours (evenings, weekends, Bank Holidays) may carry a small premium, which we'll always tell you upfront.
Do you cover Essex as well as London?
Yes. We cover the whole of Greater London plus Essex including Brentwood, Shenfield, Chigwell, Loughton, Theydon Bois, Ingatestone, Romford, Chelmsford, Harlow, and surrounding areas. If your postcode isn't listed, call us — we likely cover it.
Are your engineers Gas Safe registered?
Every engineer we send is Gas Safe registered. It is illegal for an unregistered engineer to work on gas appliances in the UK. You can ask to see their Gas Safe ID on every visit — and you should. You can also verify their registration at GasSafeRegister.co.uk.
What if you can't fix it on the first visit?
If the part is not on the van, we order it immediately and return at the earliest opportunity — usually the next day. We will never leave you without heating or hot water without a plan in place. If the boiler is beyond repair, we'll advise on replacement options with no obligation.
